Thank You For Loving Me

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for loving me.  Thank you for loving me so much that you saved me from falling.  Thank you for giving me the strength to make it through another day.  Thank you for hearing me when I cried out to you in need of  help.   Thank you for being there for me when I wanted to give up.  Thank you for staying with me when I felt all alone.  Thank you for catching my tears and taking my pain when I cried out to you… Jesus please take this.   I know without you I would never have come this far.  I know without you I would give in. Thank you for being there putting out your hand for me to grab on to.  Thank you for pulling me up out of the mouth of the pit of self destruction.  Thank you for giving me the strength to keep going on.  Thank you for the strength to keep breathing.  Thank you for breathing for me when I can’t breath on my own.  Thank you for holding on to me and never letting me go.  Thank you for loving me.

Your Peace in the Morning

I feel my anxiousness begin to slip away as you show me your light slipping up over the edge of the dark with the dawning of the new day.   I see you in the sun as it’s light begins filling the sky, your magnificent artwork painting the dark with your glory in color.  As my eyes look upon this my fast heartbeat calms, because not only can I feel you, but I see you and I know you are near.   I praise you and I thank you.
