There’s something about the morning that makes me feel at peace. The promise of a do-over, a fresh start, an opportunity to learn to breathe again. The dawning of a new day says peace to me. Thank you, Lord, for the soothing softness that comes with the morning, A soft whisper as the first ray of light slips up over the edge of the dark. It’s your voice.
I woke up this morning hoping to meet you in the sunrise but I was facing the wrong side of the sky. As I sat watching the morning begin to come alive, I noticed the birds all around me were singing and how the sunrise though behind me turned the clouds to a beautiful shade of orange in front of me. The ocean view off in the distance then drew me in. Suddenly the thought occurred to me that if I had no singing birds, ocean views, sunrises or sunsets you would still be here right beside me. You are all I need.
Father,
Thank you for helping me to get out of bed this morning. Thank you for your reassurance that I am special and needed in this world. Thank you for showing me you that have a plan for me. Thank you for showing me that I am your daughter and though You are Lord of all the universe you still care know every inch me. and You love me for who I am. Thank you for showing me I am beautiful. Thank you for always making sure I know that I am loved and that I am precious in your eyes. Though sometimes the day seems dark and dreary you always seem to shine you light into my life brightening it up, bringing peace and joy. Thank you for caring so much and thank you for being with me always.

Thank you for the moment when the sun comes up
Psalm 143:8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving me so much that you saved me from falling. Thank you for giving me the strength to make it through another day. Thank you for hearing me when I cried out to you in need of help. Thank you for being there for me when I wanted to give up. Thank you for staying with me when I felt all alone. Thank you for catching my tears and taking my pain when I cried out to you… Jesus please take this. I know without you I would never have come this far. I know without you I would give in. Thank you for being there putting out your hand for me to grab on to. Thank you for pulling me up out of the mouth of the pit of self destruction. Thank you for giving me the strength to keep going on. Thank you for the strength to keep breathing. Thank you for breathing for me when I can’t breath on my own. Thank you for holding on to me and never letting me go. Thank you for loving me.
Thank you for showing me that your love is never failing.
Thank you for showing me your faithfulness time and time again.
Thank you for the blessings of new and challenging things.
Thank you for never ceasing to amaze me.
You have taken this broken person and gradually help piece me back together again.
You have given me a whole new life.
A life with meaning.
A life with joy.
A life with love.
Thank you for loving me.

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
Sometimes I feel as if I float on a sea of crashing waves jostling and tossing about not knowing what direction to go. Seas of darkness threatening to over take me pulling me under with suffocating strength crushing my chest turning my breath to gasps as anxiety and panic set in. I whisper your name … Jesus … as I see you rise out of the dark sea of fear and pain your arms envelope me, holding strong, my life raft catching me not letting me fall into dark waters. I see your strong hands take the wheel of the ship standing beside me steering me through the overwhelming swells of waves never allowing the ship to capsize as you deliver me to safe ground.
Then they I cried out to the Lord in their my trouble,
and he brought them me out of their my distress.
He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed.
They I were was glad when it grew calm,
and he guided them me to their my desired haven.
Let them me give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for mankind. Psalms 107:28-31
Thank you Lord for keeping me safe and holding me in your arms steering me through the rough patches and delivering me to safe ground. Love, T
Thank you for the blessing of your never ending presence in my life. Thank you for always showing me you are here. Today it was in the beauty of the day, a song on the radio and the kindness of a friend. Thank you for always watching over me and gently reminding me where I belong.

Thank you for the special friends you have put in my life. Thank you for friends who inspire, friends who help keep me on track when I get a little lost, friends who help pick me up when I am down, friends who don’t always tell me what I want to hear but what is honest and true. Thank you for friends who make me smile and friends to laugh and cry with. Thank you for friends who make me stronger in you.
Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
